Hill walking! We are situated along an edge of Tegg’s Nose Country Park, that merges into the Peak District National Park, and the Gritstone Trail. This is accessed within metres of your doorstep.

There are walks through Macclesfield Forest, catering for the gentle stroll, or serious athletes!

Mountain biking: allowed on marked roads and trails.

Jodrell Bank Observatory with the world’s 3rd largest steerable radio-telescope  is 30 minutes and with a Discovery Centre. (http://www.jodrellbank.net).

Bakewell, and  Chatsworth House etc. are less than 1-hour drive.
